aGreatPlaceToStay.Net grew out of an idea from Judith Buck, (the owner of our original rental, Bucks Beach Bungalow, now our mainProperty Manager and General Mastermind): to create a network of friends who own Vacation Rentals in Santa Cruz, San Francisco and Lake Tahoe, who help each other rent their Vacation Properties for the summer season and year-round.
The three original rentals Judith managed on behalf of her friends and neighbors soon grew in number as demand for vacation rentalsincreased and more Santa Cruz homeowners contacted Judith, interested in making their own homes available for vacationers.Now aGreatPlaceToStay.Net has grown into an exciting business with many unique rentals in several locations in California and a staffcommitted to personalized service, still led by Judith Buck. We are adding rentals all the time, thanks to you, our satisfied customers!We have listed here a few added benefits all our Home Owners have access to as they want them.- Our Hours of Operation; 7am - 7pm PST - 7 days a week, a member of our staff will always be available for you and we have emergency cell phones just in case the need should arise off-hoursIf you call our tollfree number above during our off-hours, please Press 1 to be connected to a live, English speaking agent who will assist you in dealing with whatever you need..- We have regular meetings with the Counties of the homes we offer, to protect Vacation Rentals Rights.- All our reservationists visit each of the homes they will be offering so they will be able to speak with our future guestsconfidently and be knowledgeable about your home's wonderful features, amenities and location.- As the home owner you will be able to monitor, track and add your own bookings with 24/7 access to your calendar on-line or you can call our toll free number and a friendly member of our staffwill give you your home's current bookings.- You have the privilage of doing direct exchanges with other home owners in the network, so Santa Cruz owners canexchange with San Francisco or Lake Tahoe owners, etc.- You have the ability to access and update or modify your homes particular information as you like and we will come and photograph any new improvements or changes to the property anytime, at no additional charge.- To ensure your homes readiness for arriving guests or if you need to make some changes quickly, each home has been assigned a Housekeeping Supervisor who will instruct our cleaning, maintenanceand website staff directly and provide them with what you would like to get done..- As minor repairs are needed, our maintenance staff are also on call; 7-days a week and they are capable ofaddressing many situations that may occur so that you do not incur any costs from Licensed Professionals likePlumbers, Electricians, unless it is absolutely necessary, and you, the owner, have been contacted.. .- Inventory photos are taken of each home so the cleaning staff can put everything back in its original and properlocation if it has been moved.- We put together and maintain a binder for each home, that gives the guests good ideas for those local activities,attractions and how to find them on foot and on the web.- We participate in the Santa Cruz County Encouraged Noise Abatement Program in conjunction with First AlarmSecurity.and can connect you to them if you want their help.- We offer guests several added amenities that are unique, all to help entice guests stay in your home. One examplewould be the FREE domestic and FREE International phone service to 43 countries we offer guests, access tohelpful companies that have sterilized baby equipment available for those who do not wish to travel with theirown equipment., handicapped ramps and other assistance to the elderly or disabled.- You will also have an opportunity to participate in co-op advertising that sends guest to your home directly withoutgoing through the main website so they can concentrate on booking your home!
